Meet the Team

Affordable Animal Care and Great Staff in Mililani

Dr. Randal Sakaino, DVM

Dr. Sakaino received his Bachelor’s and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University and began practicing in 1985. He later decided to open his own clinic at Mililani Town Center in 1989, and moved to our current location in 2012.



Dr. Sakaino's furry family includes: two dachshunds: Riley and Joey; two tortoises, Rocky and Tina; and birds.


In his free time, he enjoys fishing, cooking, and going for walks with his dogs.

Dr. Jordan Sakaino, DVM

Dr. Jordan received his Bachelor's degree at Washington State University and continued on to the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated in May 2022.  He started practicing and joined his dad here at Mililani Town Center Pet Clinic in August 2022. Born  and raised in Mililani, Dr. Jordan grew up watching Dr. Sakaino care for his patients and wanted to follow in his father's footsteps from a young age. Over time, Dr. Jordan's interest shifted to wanting to maintain and strengthen the bond between pets and their owners.


Dr. Jordan's furry family includes Pinto and Maize (Dachshunds), Yuki (chinchilla), and hundreds of aquatic pets.


In his free time, Dr. Jordan enjoys playing tennis, watching football (Go Vikings and Buckeyes!), and caring for his aquariums - which include over 40 tanks of various breeds of fish.

Robie

Office and Receptionist Manager



Robie has been with MTCPC since August of 2008. She grew up watching her mom work as a technician. As a kid, they would go with her to work during the summers to help and she ended up loving the field.


Robie’s furry family includes her Min-Pin Mix, Mattie.


In her free time, she enjoys hanging out at home, going to the beach with Mattie, and watching scary movies.

Charlie

Veterinary Technician/Assistant Manager

Veterinary Assistant

Charlie has been with MTCPC since February of 2017. She has always been drawn to animals, and has wanted to work in veterinary medicine for as long as she can remember. Currently, she is interested in animal behavior to see how we can better interact and treat our patients and teach owners to better communicate with their pets.


Charlie’s furry family includes two dogs: Ellie Mae Holstein and Mando; and two cats: Swarly and Fernando.


In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling and going to concerts. She is currently learning how to speak Spanish!



Julie

Veterinary Assistant

Julie has been with MTCPC since August of 2020. Growing up, her favorite channel on TV was Animal Planet and from a young age she would enjoy caring for her pets at home. When she was in high school working on her Senior Project, she volunteered at the Hawaiian Humane Society working as part of a team  on a community education project. That’s when she knew that she wanted to work with animals and be an advocate for them. She continued on to UH Hilo to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture with a specialty in Pre-Vet Medicine. But later decided that she enjoyed being a assistant and plans to become a certified technician in the future.


Julie’s furry family include two dogs: Mocha, Poppy Latte, and Abigael Waffle; six rabbits: Daisy, Dusty, Coco, Pebbles, BamBam, and Rubble; and a cat named Possum.


In her free time, Julie enjoys going to the beach, hanging out with friends and family, going to concerts, and spending time with her pets.

Lea

Veterinary  Assistant

Lea has been with MTCPC since June of 2024. Lea was initially in the human medical field - with over 20 years experience working with children. Her cat Bonkers, was her inspiration for changing paths. Her experience caring for him throughout his illness reignited her passion to care for animals and introduced her to the field of veterinary medicine. She completed the Veterinary Technician program at Windward Community College and is studying to become a certified Technician.


Lea’s furry family includes a dog named Lilo, six cats: Oreo, Kitten, Mocha, Hitch, Gizmo, and Lotto; and two birds: Sweetie and Buddy.


In her free time, Lea enjoys being out in nature and enjoying walks with her dog, diving and beachcombing to look for shells and treasures, reading, and crafting.

Rainbow

Veterinary Assistant

Rainbow has been with MTCPC since May of 2013. She has loved animals since she was a little girl. When she was in  high school, she knew that she wanted to help animals.


Rainbow’s furry family includes her dog: Paikea, and two cats: Merry and Randal.


In her free time, she enjoys listening to music - especially BTS, singing karaoke, and watching Korean dramas on Netflix and Youtube.


Scott

Veterinary Assistant

Scott has been with MTCPC since May of 2023. Animals have always been a part of his family growing up, he started working as an assistant and 2010 and ended up loving his job.


Scott’s furry family currently includes a lab named Geri, and three cats: Rokit, Theo, and Maisie.


In his free time, he enjoys playing video and board games, being outdoors - taking a walk or riding his bike, and working on his car.


Anzley

Veterinary Assistant

Anzley has been with MTCPC since December of 2023. Anzley has been passionate about wanting to help all animals in need. She wants to be an advocate for those who don’t have voices. Anzley is currently working towards becoming a certified veterinary technician.


Anzley’s furry family includes three dogs: Herc (a Doberman), Sparrow ( a German Shepherd), and Loki (Miniature Pinscher); and two cats: Binx and Thomas O’Malley.


In her free time, Anzley enjoys singing, traveling, and running. So far her favorite place that she’s traveled to was Puerto Rico.


Janice

Receptionist

Janice has been with MTCPC since September of 2020. As a kid, she was always drawn to animals and would bring home strays. She loved caring for them, which made her want to gain experience and knowledge of the veterinary field.


Janice’s furry family incudes five cats: Tiger, Curly Fry, Shadow, Fatso, and Chomper.


In her free time, Janice enjoys listening to music, taking naps, journaling, and scrapbooking.

Kennedy

Receptionist

Kennedy has been with MTCPC since March of 2024. She loves working with animals and enjoys being able to be around animals all day.


Kennedy’s furry family includes one horse: Larry; three dogs: Rosie, Ranger, and Rogue; and four birds: Leia, Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Skywalker.


In her free time, she enjoys going horseback riding, roller skating, and writing.
